Welcome to the PCVS e-learning academy
The following series of E-learning has been developed for anyone volunteering or working in Peterborough's voluntary and community sector. The information was designed to be fun, informative and at times challenging your organisation's way of doing things. The learning is not intended to be in-depth but guide you through some of the many areas your group will face such as employing People, data protection, health and safety, starting your charity, equal opportunities and getting your message across. To compliment the Elearning there are a number of documents to download, these include sample policy documents and further reading.

We believe the Elearning is particularly useful for new and existing small to medium size groups. Trustee boards will also find them useful even if they devolve responsibility for some of their day to day responsibilities to a manager or other paid worker, they need to know they are doing everything legal and considering the needs of their service users, paid staff and volunteers.
