Sense - Book & Music Sorter

Great ideas for volunteeringSense (Peterborough) require a Books and Music Sorter. This could be a fascinating role for the right person as it involves sorting through donated articles and then putting them into categories for distribution to Sense Charity shops, or for internet sale.

So what's so fascinating about that you may wonder! Well, in the course of collecting and sorting donated things we sometimes comes across rare books or music LPs that are worth quite a lot of money! These may be first edition books, or rare recordings. By themselves they can raise a lot of money.

We need volunteers who like 'sorting' things, and who have the skills or experience to 'spot' valuable books or records. Volunteers will probably have an interest in book or music collecting and a willingness to find out more about the things they find.

If you would like to find out more about this please call Annette on 01733 311016, or fill in our online form (stating clearly you are interested in the Book and Music Sorter Opportunity).
