What's Going On?

I’d like to introduce Bo Pycroft – a student placement we have recently taken on in our volunteer community liaison role – looking to gather community feedback.

Her aim in this project is to look at strengthening our links with local communities to ensure that everybody has free and available access to our service and the support they need.

Bo is happy to communicate directly with different groups and if possible would like to make arrangements to get out in the community to speak to people to gather feedback and gain insight into how individuals across the local communities would prefer to access our service, the barriers that individuals are facing in accessing Citizens Advice and ways to overcome these challenges. Also, to discuss preferred ways in which individuals would like to contact us, such as over the phone, online or face-to-face contact.

As a small local charity, our resource is limited in a time when our service is most needed, we understand it can be frustrating when it’s difficult to access our service. That’s why we want to understand the need and the way communities want to access our services to ensure our resources are being used in the best, most productive way.
