What's Going On?
Good Neighbours – Rural Peterborough Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Celebration – 3rd June 2026
Please join us on at the Good Neighbours – Rural Peterborough Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Celebration
On: 3rd June 2026 – 6:30pm-8.30pm with refreshments
At: The Fleet, Fleet Way, Peterborough PE2 8DL
This is an exciting time as we look to ‘help more people’ across Peterborough, and build on our six years of experience of being ‘Good Neighbours’ through a dedicated team of volunteers helping people with isolation, loneliness, independent living and improving their quality of life.
We invite you to celebrate this together, and most importantly and fittingly, in ‘Volunteers’ Week’ recognise the role our very own amazing GNRP volunteers play, and the importance of volunteers across our urban and rural City neighbourhoods.
Please come along to meet with and hear from the team and our speakers, about the great work we have achieved together and the opportunities ahead of us all to support more people through creating even more connected communities.
Speakers include:
From Peterborough City Council:
• Stephen Taylor: Executive Director – Adults, Health & Commissioning
• Esther Baffa-Isaacs: Public Health Prevention and Poverty Senior Manager
From the NHS:
• Sara Bailey: Head of Integrated Neighbourhoods – North Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Care Partnership
From the Nene Park Trust:
• Deborah Pearcey: Volunteer Officer
• Gary Mason: Community Ranger
From the GNRP team:
• Michele Matthews: CEO
• Volunteers and Beneficiaries
