📍 Venue: The Salvation Army Citadel, 1203 Bourges Boulevard, Peterborough, PE1 2AU

Learning outcomes for the workshop
This workshop explores what trauma is and how the body and brain respond when a traumatic event occurs. Participants will learn the distinction between experiencing a traumatic event and being traumatized, gaining clarity on why some individuals develop lasting impacts while others do not.
We will examine the physiological and emotional effects of trauma, building a deeper understanding of how it shapes thoughts, behaviours, and body responses.
The training then looks to practical application, offering guidance on how to effectively and compassionately support individuals who have experienced trauma.”
⚠️ Spaces are limited to 20 delegates. Please book quickly to secure your place. If you are unable to attend after booking, let us know as soon as possible so your space can be offered to someone else.
Feedback on our January workshop was very positive.
