Please find attached a leaflet about Steadfast’s first Skills Bootcamps for jobseekers wanting to start a career in the Health & Social Care sector. Skills Bootcamps are delivered in addition to our usual training provision and can also help employers who are looking to upskill their existing workforce.

The attached course is delivered with Thera Trust, who have vacancies across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. The course starts on 24th February.

The key points of our proposed skills training are highlighted in the leaflet, but just in a nutshell, our Skills Bootcamps are funded by the CPCA and are:

  • Delivered over 8 training days (either delivered over 8 weeks (1 day per week) or via a more condensed block-training model;
  • Provide a guaranteed interview for a real job opportunity in the care sector;
  • Delivered at Level 3 and, therefore, more challenging than a SWAP course (which is usually delivered at Level 1 or 2).

If you are working with clients who you think may be interested in embarking on a rewarding career in the care industry with an established high-quality employer, then please let us know by emailing [email protected]. Alternatively, if you have any questions and would like to discuss the Skills Bootcamps first, please let me know.

We are a training provider that delivers first class skills, employability and training
solutions to create better futures for individuals, families, employers and
communities. We deliver quality vocational training including Apprenticeships and
Diplomas. We are a prime contractor with the Skills Funding Agency and also work
closely with the Department of Work & Pensions, National Apprenticeship Service,
Job Centres and other funding services, to make training accessible.
