As part of the Digital Inclusion Project we are hosting a conference focusing on Online Safety and young people.  The Conference is being held on Thursday 5th March, from 10-3pm at the Allia Business Centre, London Road, Peterborough PE2 8AN.  This is being organised as part of a partnership with the Connecting Cambridgeshire Strategy with PCVS.
Places are really filling up fast so please do not re-register if you have already done so 🙂
There will be speakers articulating a range of perspectives on the challenges facing young people today to keep safe online.  This includes young people themselves, police, schools, mental health, faith groups and services focusing on the protection of young people.
The key note speaker is, Rowen from the Molly Rose Foundation and there will also be representation from Andrew Pakes, MP for Peterborough.
This is an important event and there will be opportunities for you to ask questions. If you have any questions you wish to be raised, please state it on the registration form.  The aim is to raise awareness, but also to look at ways we can collectively reduce the harm to young people within our respective services.
