CamSight

CamSight is a Cambridgeshire charity working with local people who have low vision and blindness. We enhance independence, well-being and inclusion through practical and emotional support.

We work with both children and working-age adults with existing blindness or low vision, as well as those adjusting to a new diagnosis.

CamSight offers a wide range of services including home visits, befriending, outreach (information, advice, signposting, benefits and grants support), and demonstrations of low vision aids and assistive technology via our Mobile Units and Low Vision Centre. We also provide emotional support, counselling, peer groups, volunteering opportunities, and inclusive sports and leisure activities.

We have two monthly Peer Support Groups in Peterborough and one in Whittlesey, as well as others in further areas of the county.
