Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch Association (PNHWA)
Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch Association is a modern, city‑wide movement built on one core idea: safer neighbourhoods happen when people feel connected. We bring residents together, strengthen local schemes, and make sure communities across Peterborough have the information, support, and confidence they need to look out for one another.
What began as a small group of committed volunteers in 1992 has grown into a trusted network supporting schemes across the entire city. We champion clear communication, practical guidance, scam‑awareness, and community resilience — giving residents a reliable place to turn when they need clarity, reassurance, or a friendly voice.
PNHWA is driven by the values of trust, inclusion, respect, and shared responsibility. We help reduce isolation, build stronger neighbourhood relationships, and empower people from all backgrounds to play an active role in shaping the wellbeing of their streets.
As we expand our work and modernise our approach, we’re welcoming new volunteers who want to be part of something meaningful. If you care about community, communication, and making a real difference, there’s a place for you in Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch.
