‘Heart to God and hand to man’
Your local Salvation Army Corps will provide food for those who are hungry, clothes for those who are in need and the use of our facilities for showers and washing clothes for those who are homeless.
We also offer friendship and food through our Day Centre activities and our Lunch Club twice a week. Run a Craft Club for the wellbeing of those who want friendship and time to spend with others. Run a Gardening Club (seasonal) for the wellbeing of those who have a shared interest in gardening. Run a Grief Cafe monthly for those in need of support and run a parents/carers and tots club once a week (Tiddlypeeps).
Our Corps is also part of the Salvation Army’s Debt Advice Service.
We also support the work of others in the city through regular fund raising and offering our facilities to those who need a place to meet.
We are open as a Community Hub Monday to Friday from 9am till 3pm and 12 noon on a Friday.
